Horizontal High Pressure Autoclave
To maintain the finest quality trademark, the autoclaves are made only with high-quality heavy gauge stainless steel which are welded with leak proof argon arc welding. These horizontal autoclaves are especially designed to work under very high-pressure conditions.
The lid of these autoclaves are made up of mild steel plate that is wainscoted with stainless steel from inside and the inner chamber, steam jacket, outer chamber and boiler are made of a SS-304 grade. The facility double door autoclaves are also available at some extra cost. To minimize the thermal losses, the spaces between the outer chamber and steam jacket is filled with glass wool. All the units are hydraulically tested up to 40 psi for better performance results.
There water level indicator, pressure gauge, low water level cut-off device and automatic pressure control device are fitted with the steam boiler. The function of water level indicator is to give you continuous knowledge about the level of water present inside the device. The function of the pressure gauge is to help maintain the pressure inside the device within the operating pressure limits of 15 psi to 20 psi. With the help of low water level cut off device, the circuit automatically breaks under low water level conditions. It also has a safety valve to ensure the safe functioning.
The drain valve is fitted in the side bottom and ensures easy draining to enable easy cleaning, clearing and draining. For easy evacuation of steam from inner chamber and jacket, there are two separate ports. The spring loaded safety valve & a dead weight release valve certify a higher safety of the sterilizer. The gasket of this sterilizer is made of a jointless silicon rubber.
The exhaust pressure is thrown out via an exhaust valve that is operated manually. The pressure gauge ensures a pressure of 30 psi and the sterilizing pressure range of 15 to 20 psi is achieved at a temperature of 121-degree celsius.
